Biography

I am a native of Dallas, Texas attending and graduating from the Dallas Independent School District. I furthered my education at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Child/Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Therapeutic Recreation. I continued my education at Texas A&M University-Commerce receiving my Texas Teachers Certification. I have a plethora of experience in the education field teaching children from ages 4 through middle school. With approximately 14 years of experience I must say that I still continue, on a daily basis, to learn and grow in order to improve in meeting the needs of every child I come in contact with. I now serve in the capacity of Mentor Teacher and Lead Team Teacher for 3rd grade in the Lancaster Independent School District.
