Biography

I joined the Lancaster ISD family in 2010 as a 7th grade Math teacher and coach in Girls' Athletics. During my tenure in the classroom, my students learned to LOVE Math. We had a great time! Implementing real-life situations was key to my success. I earned recognition for having the highest Math scores for the 2012-2013 school year, 90%!! During that school year I was also named Campus Teacher of the Year. I began serving as the TAP Math Master Teacher from 2013-2015, and in the middle of the 2015-2016 school year I became the Assistant Principal at Rosa Parks Millbrook Elementary. I am loving the transition from middle school to elementary. I was told by several mentors they believed Elementary would be my "happy place" as an administrator, and they were right! I am looking forward to finishing this year strong and having an even better year for 2016-2017 school year.

I am a proud product of Texas Tech University, in which I was a member of the Red Raider Track & Field team.  I am also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
